Garth Brooks to perform Benefit Concert in Nashville

Both Garth and Trisha, now living in Oklahoma, watched in May has Nashville, the home of Country Music was flooded.   They watched as Nashville citizens and fellow musicians graciously provided relief through giving, labor and benefit concerts.  The two decided to plan a benefit later in the year, when relief has slowed down.  They realize many people are still piecing their lives back together and hope that a concert in December will continue to help that effort and the rebuilding of Music City.

On December 17th, Garth Brooks, along with band, set and lights will perform a full concert to benefit the victims of the Nashville Flood in May.   Brooks says, “If you come to Vegas, you’ll see Garth Brooks with a guitar, when you come to Nashville this Christmas, you’re gonna see the band that you know, you’ll see the light rig that you know and you’re gonna see the stage that you know.”  Tickets will be $25 and every dime will go to flood relief!   GAC says, “Not only is he performing for free, he booked the venue at no charge, and every person taking part in the production is working for no pay.”   In the past, Garth has announced one show in a market, only to schedule more, based on demand.  He has promised to do as many shows as he can manage, as he wants no “charity bucks” uncollected.  Tickets will go on sale, Saturday, November 6th at 10am.
